Some results were first posted with problems on the OBC site circa 15:30 on 2009-Jul-12. They were corrected at about 19:30 on 2009-Jul-12 19:30 and are available here for your added pleasure and analysis.

Lots of sunshine with winds that were less strong than on any of our earlier attempts on this course led to some fantastic times! Two women were below the hour, with Sue Schlatter setting a new women's 40km record of 55:29. Sue improved upon her earlier (2007-Jul-08) Calabogie 40km best of 58:26 by almost four minutes. Allison McKay had her first sub-hour time, and was 51 seconds faster than her time last Sunday. Concerning the men, Michael Nash did an impressive 51:51, 29 seconds slower than the record 40km time which he set last year on this course. In all 7 men broke the hour, and congratulations go to Glen Budgell who broke this barrier for the first time. Glen was the most improved of those of us who rode both this Sunday and last Sunday. Special accolades go to Rick Sudac, Avery Burdett and Maxime Monast-Dore for each adding another time to the top of their categories. Rick even set a new PB.
